30-Day Return Policy
New York Empire Trades Inc. offers a 30-day return policy on most unused items in their original, unopened packaging. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return it within 30 days of delivery for a full refund or exchange.
Return Conditions
To qualify for a return, items must be unused, in their original packaging, and in resalable condition. All original accessories, manuals, and packaging materials must be included. Proof of purchase (order confirmation or receipt) is required for all returns.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned: cut materials (wire, rope, chain, lumber cut to size), mixed or tinted paint and stain, custom orders or special-order items, hazardous materials (chemicals, solvents, adhesives once opened), installed items, and items damaged through misuse or abuse.
How to Initiate a Return
To start a return, contact us at info@newyorkempiretrades.com or call (917) 565-0972 with your order number and reason for return. We will provide return instructions and, if applicable, a return shipping label. Returns can also be brought to our Richmond Hill location during business hours.
Refund Processing
Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will process your refund to the original payment method within 5-7 business days. Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error (wrong item shipped, defective product, etc.).
Defective or Damaged Products
If you receive a defective or damaged product, contact us immediately. We will arrange a replacement or full refund at no additional cost to you. Please photograph any damage before discarding packaging materials.
Manufacturer Warranties
Many products we sell carry manufacturer warranties in addition to our return policy. For warranty claims beyond our 30-day return window, please contact the manufacturer directly. We can assist you in finding the appropriate warranty contact information.
